I have unchecked all the files. Now i want to check 3 files at the same time. I shift select the 3 files, now they are highlighted, I click the checkbox in order to have these 3 selected files to start download at the same time.
But this does not happen. Only the one file behind the checkbox I clicked on is selected and other 2 files which i had selected are not highlighted anymore.
Do not left click on the checkbox. Right click on the selected torrents and set their priority to normal. Yes that seems to work. I'm wondering if adding an option to left click could be added? This is the way it works in previous clients I used Bitcomet, uTorrent - It's also a bit faster and simpler that way as you don't have to navigate through menus using a mouse.

However, I cannot find an easy fix. Or it may close the previous one before showing the new one. I don't know.
But it doesn't explain why you cannot click on the one you're seeing. I tried moving the mainwindow around to see if there any dialogs behind it but I couldn't find any. Btw, in OS X world terminology dialogs are called "sheets" Since I cannot fix this in a timely manner, I am going to remove it as an issue for v3. When I added more then one torrent, multiple dialog boxes pop'ed up and then the UI froze.
I couldn't close the dialogs, get them to respond or cancel them. The only solution was using the dock exit command. Yup - after searching I found this thread and turned off the add torrent dialog - and as a workaround it's great. For OS X users this is a fairly big annoyance - but there is at least a good work around. I'd wonder if disabling the add torrent dialog on OS X systems by default and not allowing it to be enabled or providing a warning would ease the transaction to qBittorrent.
At least add it to FAQ as known workaround to pretty annoying bug. I haven't encountered it on any other apps. Or try out an alpha built. I switched to qBittorrent about a month ago and love it.
I'd been using deluge for about 2 years and started having stability issues recently. I've overall been very happy with qBittorrent. The first download window appears ok, but when you close it you get the second window and everything freezes. I have no way to do anything, either with mouse or keyboard. The only thing I can do is "force quit" and restart.
This is in OS X Mavericks. Linux, qt 5. One open file dialog window has main focus, but is not editable, last one has no window focus but is editable, but has problem pressing OK button - the window that has main focus quickly steels focus back. This is a huge bug.
Sorry I don't do "twitter speak" Also I did not suggest drag and drop to the GUI, I suggested drag and drop to a watch folder , which is different thing entirely and, of course will negate both problems at once.
Thank you. Modal Window Inaccessible if Torrent started while open I am using a triple monitor configuration. It seems to have fixed itself, though. Sign in to your account. Why do all the files get downloaded from a torrent, although i have selected only the desired ones? After the metadata has been retrieved, we have an option to select the desired files for download from the Torrent information section.
Once the user selects the files, only those have to be downloaded ignoring the unchecked ones. But qBittorrent downloads all the files irrespective of those unchecked. Open any torrent file which has multiple files within for downloading. After the metadata is retrieved, uncheck any file and process the torrent for download. After download completion, check the folder to find even the unchecked file has been downloaded.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:. Sorry, something went wrong. Isn't this a waste of bandwidth and disk space?
Well those files must be smaller than the torrent's piece size and thus there is no way to download less than the complete piece. Other clients are downloading the required pieces from those files.
