You simply need to be aware of a few threats that its resistances do not completely cover. You won't become poisoned or melt to death but can still take corrosive direct damage. If you want to reduce damage from elemental attacks: increase your elemental resistances. They are not the same thing as Immunity. This is described in the FU codexes in your shiplocker.
